1940s

The Brothers Hercilio and Raul Randon, who worked in the manufacture of agricultural tools, opened an industrial engine overhauling workshop: Mecânica Randon (Randon Mechanics)

1950s

Already in its first ten years, Mecânica Randon started innovating. It is the only one in Brazil to manufacture an air brake system and develops two new products: the third axle for trucks and the semi-trailer.

1960s

Two more innovations: the third axle for trailers and the rocker suspension system. Randon becomes one of the leaders in road freight transport in Brazil and the configuration of the metal-mechanics hub in the south of the country.

1970s

Begins manufacturing off-road vehicles through Randon Veículos. Builds a new factory, goes public to expand production capacity, starts to structure the distributor network and enters the international market.

1980s

Inaugurates business diversification: joins the auto parts industry, founding Freios Master - a joint venture with the USA company Meritor - and Consortium Administrator Randon.

1990s

Creates parent company Randon Participações. Acquires Fras-Le. Inaugurates Randon Argentina. Opens two more joint ventures: Jost Brasil, with the German Jost-Werke, and Suspensys, with Meritor. Enters the rail segment with the production of Transtrailer.

2000s

It becomes one of the largest private companies in Brazil and a global reference brand, exporting to all continents. Creates Castertech for the production of cast iron parts. Fras-le opens factories in the USA and China.

2010s

Period of high international expansion and several acquisitions in the domestic market. Growth in production, sales and qualification - including relationships with all its stakeholders, society and the environment. Banco Randon and the Centro Tecnológico Randon start operating.
