Randoncorp formalizes changes in its corporate governance
Daniel Randon takes on the roles of CEO and President of the Company; Sérgio L. Carvalho will serve as Senior Executive Advisor in an independent external consulting role
Randoncorp announced to the market on Monday, September 1st, that Daniel Randon will now serve as President and CEO of the company. This move formalizes the transition process announced in March. As a result, former CEO Sérgio L. Carvalho steps down from this role, as well as from his position as President and CEO of Frasle Mobility.

This transition, already planned as part of the companies’ succession process, marks an important and well-aligned stage among those involved. Sérgio, in turn, considered his desire to return to living in the United States, where he already resides with his family. He will now serve Randoncorp as a Senior Executive Advisor. In this independent external consulting role, he will contribute to the company’s strategic planning and will remain a member of the advisory boards of the joint ventures Master Freios and JOST Brasil.

Daniel Randon, who previously held the position of President and CEO from 2019 to 2021, returns to leadership at a different moment, with more mature governance, organized structures, and strong leadership heading the Executive Committee and the company’s business verticals. Daniel will continue the work that has been carried out, ensuring the preservation of the founders’ values, which Sérgio also upheld with excellence over the past three years.

“We are confident in this move and believe it marks another important step in our strategy for sustainable growth, with a focus on international markets. This decision, made by mutual agreement and aligned with Sérgio’s personal plans, has been made possible because the company has reached a high level of governance in recent years. We are deeply grateful to Sérgio for his years of dedication as an executive and CEO of Randoncorp, and we know that his new role will remain strategic and essential for the company. Sérgio leaves a legacy of leadership marked by simplicity, authenticity, ethics, appreciation for people, and innovation,” emphasizes Daniel Randon.

Frasle Mobility

Under the new structure, Daniel Randon assumes the presidency of Frasle Mobility, and Anderson Pontalti, current COO, becomes CEO of the same company, overseeing operations both in Brazil and abroad. Pontalti will also continue in his role as EVP (Executive Vice President) International at Randoncorp, responsible for the units within the Auto Parts and OEM verticals in international markets, except for South America.

“I’m grateful for the trust placed in me to take on this position and contribute even more to the growth of Frasle Mobility. I’m confident that, alongside our employees, we will continue on a consistent path as a globally recognized company for sustainable mobility solutions, caring for people and the planet.” says Anderson Pontalti.
