Randon Companies and 4all announced the creation of a new company in order to provide digital financial services. Through a joint venture between Randon Ventures, a unit of the group dedicated to investing in start-up companies based in Caxias do Sul (RS), and 4all Ventures, Venture Builder of the digital ecosystem of 4all Companies based in Porto Alegre (RS), a new company, initially called “projeto R4”, is created in order to serve the logistics and transport segment. Operations will begin in the first quarter of 2021, with testing of the services offered by the company.

This unprecedented move for Randon Companies is in line with the company's strategic view, which continues to accelerate important changes in the group's transformation and innovation journey. “We reaffirm our purpose with this new investment, establishing an even closer relationship with our customers. This partnership opens up numerous possibilities for the delivery of digital services that make life easier for carriers”, reinforces Daniel Randon, CEO of Randon Companies.

According to 4all CEO José Renato Hopf, the new company further strengthens the ecosystem of companies and digital businesses led by 4all. “This partnership with Randon fills us with pride while at the same time associating us with a brand with plenty of tradition, challenging us to build solutions for an industry with major technology challenges. We are convinced that this initiative has arrived to change the Brazilian logistics market”, he said.

This fintech is created to serve the broad segment of the domestic logistics chain, bringing to this market many technological solutions that allow for the execution of various financial services. With the applications delivered by the new company, it will be possible to make various payments, issue invoices and collection slips, carry out financial transfers, among other services. “Both individual carriers and large fleet owners demand numerous transactions on a daily basis. We are creating a set of services with solutions that will be accessible to everyone and the credibility of traditional brands, such as Randon Companies”, highlights Cleber Sanguanini, the R4 project leader.

According to Versione Mauro Jr, CEO of 4all Ventures’ fintech platform, this is a unique moment of changes in financial relationships in all segments, and the logistics ecosystem is no different. “Establishing a partnership with Randon in order to accelerate this move, in one of the most important segments for the development of the country, is a source of pride for us”, he points out.

Fintech will partner with Banco Randon, which will act as a settlement bank for financial transactions.
