On February 22, Randon Ventures, the investment and start-up company acceleration unit at Randon Companies, announced the destination of its most recent investments. A total amount of BRL 2.5 million will be invested in start-up company Abbiamo, which operates in the digital control of logistics processes, focusing on the delivery experience to the final consumer.

This start-up company can provide, within 24 hours, the entire logistics for product shipping between the states of Santa Catarina, an important textile hub in the country, and São Paulo, Brazil’s largest consumer market. Focused on improving consumer experience, Abbiamo develops digital solutions to qualify purchasing tools, tracking the movements, distribution and delivery of the product in a more expeditious and efficient way. Currently, the company operates in the clothing segment, and based on the investment and its partnership with Randon Ventures it will expand its scope and start to operate in some new segments.

"The logistics market is undergoing a process of intense transformation, and this investment is in alignment with this trend. We have identified an important competitive advantage in Abbiamo, as it provides solutions that connect various players in this product delivery chain, from producers to carriers, prioritizing a unique experience for final consumers”, stresses Mateus de Abreu, Business and Digital Strategies Manager at Randon Companies and Head of Randon Ventures.

“The pandemic has accelerated several transformations in the industry, in such a way that expeditious digitization is essential so that companies are not left behind. It requires great synergy between brands, carriers and consumers. Within this context, according to which deliveries are the only physical link in this chain, Abbiamo comes in to enable carriers to generate new digital value for brands as well as an incredible consumer experience”, explains Abbiamo co-founder Aurelio de Padua.

In addition to Abbiamo, this Randon Companies unit has already established partnerships with Grupo Delta, TruckHelp and Soon (formerly known as Reboque.me). In a recent partnership with 4all, the creation of a new company, in order to offer digital financial services, was also announced.
