Strengthened as a market leader in South America and advancing in its growth strategy, Master Sistemas Automotivos, a subsidiary of Empresas Randon, starts to use automation and robotics in the forging shop, together with the Caxias do Sul (RS) unit.

The new system went live on June 14. The new space facilities, with 2,400 square meters of built area, bring together robotic systems for the manufacture of S Camshafts developed by RTS Industry, an automation acceleration and development unit controlled by Empresas Randon. The investment, approximately BRL 8 million, will allow for greater control over the production of components. Overall, 15 new direct and indirect jobs were created.

Master's director, Bernardo Bregoli Soares clarifies that the new automation process puts Master on a new level of knowledge and competitiveness.

We are investing consistently and strategically, aiming to increase the competitiveness of our processes. For this, we have invested heavily in robotic automation of handling activities, and especially in forging. This factor maximizes our production results, with safety and quality.”

In the wake of the unit's modernization, the new Storage System was also inaugurated on the 14th. The semi-automatic warehouse favors safety in material handling. The structure has obstacle and people detection devices, with automatic stop of the equipment in case of need, reducing the risk accidents at work.

We have a very well assembled material flow in our factory, and the new warehouse also improves the safety and ergonomics conditions of our employees, fundamental factors for the evolution of our internal logistics activities”, adds Bernardo.
